What is the maximum weight of an unfilled sandbag?

We recommend filling up to 25kg – so take extra care not to overfill it when adding your own weight.

How much does the55 sandbag weigh when empty?

1.3kg

Can I put sand/stones straight into the bag?

Yes, you can, but nothing with sharp edges. We’d always recommend using the 4 ready-to-fill inserts supplied with your sandbag to keep things cleaner (do you really want to chuck a load of sand in your washing machine?).

Does the unfilled sandbag come filled with sand?

This is a hard no! But to be super clear – the unfilled sandbag isn’t filled with weight out of the box. Instead they arrive with 4 x ready-to-fill inserts so you can fill them up to your chosen weight, using whatever you have to hand from sand to water bottles.

Which multi-weight bag is right for me?

It really depends on your ability and how custom you want the weight to be. To workout with lighter weights, go for the unfilled bag to load it up with whatever you have to hand. For an all-in-one, ready-to-lift solution – go for the pre-filled sandbag where we’ve done the work for you (the workout, we leave to you!).
